booking.

Two routes - GARGRAVE (Bottom lock) or KILDWICK Based
on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal at Skipton, we have a specially
constructed 53 foot canal boat based at Skipton General
Hospital with access paths and a purpose
built mooring with ramps for easy embarkation of passengers
with disabilities.
The windows in the cabin are large and low for maximum
visibility and the galley and the bathroom are specially
designed for wheelchair access.
The Marine and Coastguard Agency specify a maximum
of 12 passengers (this includes carers) and we are limited
to three wheelchairs although there is provision for
passengers to be transferred. Refreshments are available.

“Scad’s Endeavour”
is a day boat only and the usual trips are about 5 hours
duration. The Skipper will individually assess special
requests. Shorter evening trips are available subject
to daylight hours. Split voyages where passengers change
halfway at Kildwick can be arranged to accommodate groups
of up to 24.
