A Walk around Grassington

Starting at the bottom of Main Street heading north;
On your left are:-


Bay Tree Interiors; Knick knacks and fancy goods.
(Empty Shop) awaiting info.
Spar; Groceries,papers etc.
Church House; Services.
The Wine Shop; Wines, beers and spirits.
Post Office; Stamps, postal services and bric a brac.
(Ledes Way cul de sac)
Robert Bunney; Mens and Ladies Wear.
(Lane to left contains way to:)
Help the Aged; Charity Shop.
The Rustic Rabbit; Gifts & bric a brac.
Walkers; Bakers & Confectioners.
Devonshire Hotel; Pub, Beers, Food & Accommodation
(cul de sac) leading to Ashfield House; Hotel.
Helen Midgley; Shoes handbags etc.
Rebbecca Reid; Hairdresser.
Dales Book Centre; Literature, books, maps.
Chocolace; Sweets & Confectionary.

Over the road on Chapel Street is

Starting at the point where Main Street divides; heading north;
Shops on your right are:-

CC Outdoors; Clothing etc. for the Fell Walker.
Rozi's Tandoori House; Indian Cuisine & Takeaway.
Christine; Hair Design.
The Retreat Cafe & Tea Rooms; Vegetarian and Vegan café
The Foresters Arms; Pub, Beers, Food, Accommodation.
The Courtyard Pottery; Hand thrown Pottery & Artwork.
The Hardware Shop; Various.
Bed & Breakfast; Board & Lodgings.

At the top turn right along Chapel Street down towards Garrs Lane.
Head towards Pletts Barn:-
The Mountaineer; Outdoor Clothing, Tents, gear etc.

At Garrs Lane turn right and walk south; along the left of Garrs Lane the first "place" is:-
Fish & Chips; Food, Takeaway
Black Horse Hotel; Pub, Beer, Food, Accommodation.
Harlequin; Bohemian Clothing & Fashion & Gallery.
Folk Museum; Upper Wharfedale Museum Society.
Grassington House; Hotel, Food, Accommodation.
Bluebell Gallery; Kitchenwear, bric a brac.
Cobblestones Cafe; Food.
Dales Country Trading; Clothing, Outdoor, Fashion.
The Craft Shop; Arts & Crafts.
The Yorkshire Lass; Cafe and Teas.
The Smithy; Gallery-pictures.
The Linen & Bedding Shop; Linen & Bedding.

Along the right of Garrs Lane is:-
Several Self Catering Holiday Cottages to let.

Turning down Wood Lane, there are a small but significant set of establishments, namely:-

Dales Pet Emporium; Stuff for your Cat, dog etc.

Relish; Food Store & Deli.
Spencer Davis Solicitor & Estate Agent.

Further down is the GP Surgery and nearby the Pharmacy.
